Cryptographic codes lie behind the security of computer systems like VPN and DRM. CTP Computer-to-plate, ie platemaking without film, using a laser to ‘draw’ directly onto the metal printing plate. Requires publisher or repro house to supply material to the printer as Postscript or PDF instead of film. Paul Graham Rss. Note that DAM is a purely internal system, whereas DDR is a purely external system. The other half, the flyleaf, is pasted along the folded edge to the first or last page of the book block. Endpapers can be plain, coloured or illustrated.

Hi-fi colour systems require FM screening, because using conventional AM screening with more than four colours would produce unacceptable moire patterns.
